Thompsons leads the UK tipper bodybuilding industry.
From producing its first tipper body in 1973, Thompsons has built over 30,000 tipper bodies of which around half are still running today.
Our bodies cover the full commercial vehicle range from 3.5 to 44 tonnes gvw.
Thompsons customers are not only in the construction sector, but also in waste, environment, highways, utilities and rental.
Most of our bodies are built in steel. Top of the rigid range is the Loadmaster, with some 15,000 examples being delivered in the last 20 years.
As a major development, Thompsons is now adding trailers to its range of tippers.
We also supply skiploaders and hookloaders, delivering some 250 – 300 examples every year.
Thompsons is the first (and only) UK tipper bodybuilder to offer both internet shopping for Parts and genuinely nationwide aftersales Service support.
