LH Quarry Plant Ltd is recognised as a market leader in the supply and manufacture of Quarry Plant equipment, but how did we do it?

The company was formed by our chairman Laurie Caswell in 1968 working from a small unit in Teesside. The company machined castings for a local foundry which supplied castings for Nordberg, Pegson and Allis Chalmers to name but a few. Due to rapid expansion the company relocated to bigger premises and we diversified into Crusher wear parts and ancillary parts, all manufactured and machined in house.

A fabrication shop developed to complement the company’s growth, where bucket repairs and production of dredging parts became daily activities.

In the early 1990s the company moved to their latest home to accommodate the two oldest jaw crushing companies still in existence today, Baxter Crushers and Marsden Crushers.

With the new millennium came a new challenge as we took on the Metalogenia dealership, one of the worlds most renowned leaders in Ground Engaging Tooling, supplying MTG Kingmet & Starmet systems and various other tooth systems to the industry.

In 2012 we invested heavily in new machinery for our expanding workshops with the aim of giving us more flexibility to meet our customers demands and offer better and improved services.

We are always focused on looking to grow, expand and diversify without loosing focus on our core strengths.
